As brother and sister, Dr. Lisa Kang and Dr. David Kang founded serenity MedSpa in 2006.

Dr. Lisa Kang completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and continued to George Washington University School of Medicine where she received her M.D. degree. She served her general surgery residency at the University if California San Francisco-East Bay Program. Dr. Lisa Kang is a board certified general surgeon but has since dedicated herself to studying non-invasive and minimally invasive procedure to the face and body.

Dr. David Kang completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and received his M.D. at the University of St. Louis School of Medicine. He served his general surgery residency at the University if California San Francisco-East Bay Program. Dr. David Kang is also a board certified general surgeon. He is especially skilled at minimally invasive body contouring procedures, cellulite reduction and skin tightening treatments.

Serenity MedSpa has many different cosmetic and dermatologic treatments for the face. They can perform skin tightening, skin resurfacing, add volume and address wrinkles. Utilizing both chemical and laser procedures, the medical team at Serenity MedSpa provides their patients with many options for treatment such as, ThermiTight, Ulthera®, ThermiSmooth, RFzet for skin tightening. For skin resurfacing they provide, Ultrapulse® Encore CO2 Laser, Fraxel Dual® Laser, and Clear + Brilliant® Laser. TO replace lost volume in the face Serenity MedSpa uses a variety of hyaluronic acid fillers, and Radiesse®. For wrinkles they offer Botox® and Dysport®, two types of neuromodulators and fillers.

For the body, Serenity has selected the procedures with the highest safety and quality standards while producing medical grade results. They offer laser liposuction, skin tightening and cellulite treatments, laser hair and tattoo removal and many more.

For laser hair removal, Serenity MedSpa uses the Vectus laser. The Vectus laser features an increase beam size to decrease time spent on large areas like the legs and back. It also uses a diode laser that has become the gold standard in laser hair removal. With two handsets, a larger and a smaller, the Vectus laser can treat even the more difficult areas of the body with ease providing a more permanent hair removal process. Every treatment will result in a greater and greater permanent hair reduction, which saves the patient time and money in the long run.

The Zimmer Cryo Chillers assist with these various treatments by minimalizing pain and discomfort to the patient. The Cryo Chillers provide local relief through air-cooling during various procedures. Medically, it helps to prevent damage to the skin throughout laser procedure. Zimmer Cryo Chiller also brings a piece of mind to the patient even when undergoing the most advanced aesthetic treatments.
