Cryo 6 Articulating Arm - Hands-Free Operation
The Articulating Arm enables the practitioner to operate the Cryo 6 device hands-free. Staff resources are freed up from holding both Cryo and laser hand pieces, when used in conjunction with laser devices. Other Cryo models should be fitted with their corresponding Articulating Arm. This Articulating Arm attaches to the Cryo 6 cooling device hose to reach the treatment area and position the hose in a stable, anchored position. This allows the practitioner a safe method of removing their hands from the Cryo 6 hose during treatment and enables precise delivery of cold air of up to -30 C.
The Cryo 6 Articulating Arm is intended for use with the Cryo 6 skin cooling system. Only Cryo 6 models should be equipped with the Cryo 6 Articulating Arm. Other Cryo models should be fitted with their corresponding Cryo Articulating Arms.
The Cryo 6 Articulating Arm works in combination with the Cryo 6 hose and/or extended hose to deliver cold air of temperatures down to -30 C from the Cryo 6 skin cooling system to the treatment site. The cold air is typically intended to minimize pain and thermal injury during laser and dermatological treatments and for temporary topical anesthetic relief for injections. The epidermis is cooled before, during, and after laser energy has been applied – without interfering with the laser beam.
The Cryo 6 Articulating Arm includes the following individual parts: support bracket (screws and allen key), rod, hose holder, articulated joint, arched hanger and rod stabilizer.

The Cryo 6 Articulating Arm
The Cryo 6 Articulating Arm is compatible with the Cryo 6 Hose/Extended Hose and Cryo 6 Focusing Tip. Articulating Arm can be used with or without the Focusing Tip.
The Cryo 6 Focusing Tip is an air nozzle that provides the user with a more concentrated air flow. The Focusing Tip attaches easily to the hose or extended hose by inserting the tip into the treatment end of the hose. The range of the tip can be adjusted by sliding it in and out to varying degrees in the Cryo 6 hose or extended hose. It also provides a means to reach those harder to reach treatment sites. The Focusing Tip can be easily removed when not needed. Sold separately.
