Zimmer MedizinSystems Lotion
Zimmer MedizinSystems Lotion comes in a white Zimmer MedizinSystems bottle, labeled “Lotion”. The bottle is conveniently sized to be held in the Z Wave SysCart Pro and SysCart Q accessory holders behind the monitor. Zimmer MedizinSystems Lotion is a lubricant designed to allow a hand piece to comfortably and safely move across the skin. It is not a conductor of energy, but avoids uncomfortable dragging across the skin and prevents any possible abrasion. It should be used sparingly, only using enough so that the operator feels the hand piece glide without dragging. It typically requires only 3-5 drops, depending on the size of the treatment area and the dryness of the skin. If the operator senses drag during treatment, simply add a few more drops. Excessive amounts of oil are unnecessary. Excessive oil use can make for splatter to the surrounding area and can make it more likely for oil to migrate inside the hand piece. To apply the oil, place the 3-5 drops on the area to be treated. Hold the hand piece in the other hand. Use the hand piece to spread the oil. Operator's foot should be off the pedal, but ready to depress it. Once the oil is evenly spread, keep moving the hand piece as you step on the pedal to begin treatment.
Set of 25 Blue Silicone Caps for 6mm and 15mm Applicator Heads
The Z Wave Pro silicone cap for the hand piece is specifically designed to be applied over the 6mm and 15mm applicator heads of the HP Mini PT hand piece. It is required if the treatment is applied using Zimmer MedizinSystems Lotion or other lubricants. The silicone caps allow for an optimal energy transfer to the patient and they protect the applicator head.
1 x 6mm and 3 x 15mm Applicator Heads
The applicator heads are specifically designed for use with the Zimmer MedizinSystems Z Wave Pro (or enPuls) HP Mini PT hand piece. It is essential that the applicator head is screwed tightly into the hand piece. If lotion or other lubricants are being used for patient treatments, the blue silicone cap is to be applied over the 6mm and 15mm applicator heads. This will allow for an optimal energy transfer to the patient and to protect the applicator head. Each HP Mini PT maintenance kit comes with one 6mm and three 15mm applicator heads.
The applicator head must be replaced after a certain period of use. Minor or slight deformation or shortening of the rear impact dome does not affect functionality, but as deformation or shortening of the rear impact dome becomes greater, the applicator head needs to be replaced.
The HP Mini PT hand piece is an ergonomically designed patient energy transfer system and is used in conjunction with the 6mm and 15mm applicator heads and the silicone cap. The Z Wave’s electromagnetic generator is primarily designed to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite and to enhance body shaping results. To treat cellulite, the Zimmer MedizinSystems Z Wave Pro unit transmits powerful sound waves into the tissue. The Radial Pulse energy is delivered via the electromagnetic applicator. The energy then spreads out radially to enhance the treatment effect.
