This suspends the Cryo Mini Hose during treatments and also when the device is not in use. The Distal End of Treatment Arm (Hose Holder) provides a secure, supportive fastener for the Cryo Mini Hose. This is one of the parts on the Articulating Arm that helps to provide accurate hands-free placement of the treatment hose during skin cooling procedures. It also helps the Arched Hanger to prevent the Cryo Mini Hose tip from dropping onto the floor, aiding with keeping the hose clean.
When treatment is not being administered, the Cryo Mini Distal End of Treatment Arm (Hose Holder) can keep the hose intact on the Articulating Arm and facilitate smooth transport of the device between rooms and treatment chairs. Other Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo models should be fitted with their corresponding Cryo Distal End of Treatment Arm (Hose Holder).
The Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo Mini Distal End of Treatment Arm (Hose Holder) works in combination with the Cryo Mini Articulating Arm and Cryo Mini Hose and/or Extended Hose to deliver cold air of temperatures as low as -10°C from the Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo Mini skin cooling system to the treatment site. The cold air is typically intended to minimize pain and thermal injury during laser and dermatological treatments and for temporary topical anesthetic relief for injections. The epidermis is cooled before, during, and after laser energy has been applied – without interfering with the laser beam.
